Session Frequency, Length, and Fee

Psychotherapy usually occurs on a weekly basis, and each session is typically 45 minutes. Extended and more frequent sessions are also available. The total anticipated length of treatment varies depending on the patient’s individual needs and can be discussed following an initial evaluation with Dr. Jordan.

Dr. Jordan is an out-of-network clinician who bills patients directly for services he provides. The fee for each standard-length session of psychotherapy or psychological assessment is $400. If patients whose insurance plans include out-of-network benefits wish to file with their insurance for reimbursement of fees, Dr. Jordan will be happy to provide the necessary receipts for services.

Dr. Jordan is happy to meet with patients in person or by telehealth. For patients who prefer telehealth services, Dr. Jordan uses a HIPAA-compliant telemedicine platform. Patients can access their therapy sessions through a desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile device with Internet access. For optimal video and audio quality, a reliable Internet speed of at least 10 Mbps is recommended. The online platform uses bank-level encryption and security.
